You totally have to go to the world's biggest McDonald's by Tiennanmen Square... I'm sure there are cooler things you could do, but seriously... Or, you could go to Hard Rock Cafe and check out the totally post-modern mural of Mao rockin' out with, like, Bon Jovi or something.
